History
Founded in 1905, The Nova Scotia Agricultural College has come
of age and stands at the threshold of a new era in agricultural
education, training and research. As a university, the
NSAC provides agricultural based Technical, Technology, Bachelor
and Masters level programs in its capacity as the Atlantic institution
with the mandate for post-secondary education in agriculture.
Situated on 265 hectares of fertile intervale along the Salmon
River in Bible Hill, the NSAC's facilities have expanded
rapidly in recent years. Improvements to the farm complex and
research facilities now make it one of the most modern, best
