ACAA Athlete of the Week
January 11, 2010
Kelsey, a dual sport (rugby and basketball) athlete
from Truro, had two excellent games this weekend.
On Saturday against Holland College Hurricanes,
Kelsey had 22 points and 8 rebounds, including the
last 4 points to put the game into OverTime. In
the win against Crandall, Kelsey again held a hot
hand as she scored 16 points including going 4 for
4 from the line in the later stages of the game
to ensure the victory. All this in addition to being
the point guard and running the offense, Kelsey
is a leader on and off the court/field for the NSAC
Rams! |

Jennifer Lutes, a BSc 2nd year – Pre Veterinary
student from Tide Head New Brunswick has been selected
the ACAA Female Athlete of the Week. She competed
for Sugarloaf Senior High before coming to NSAC in
2008. This past week, Jennifer had two strong performances
. In the game against against UNBSJ she scored 14
points, including the game winning shot and had 15
rebounds. Against STU she continued her fine play
with 8 pts, 6 rebounds and 2 steals.
