The NSAC Alumni Association needs your help
NSAC alumni are doing wonderful things and we want
to know about it. Many of our students leave our university campus
and accomplish great things, travel to exciting places and achieve
success in a variety of different capacities. We are proud of them
and want to acknowledge them in our alumni publications, through
our website and more.
As their former teachers, mentors and friends, you
are the best ones to let us know who to contact. Do you know someone
who has won an award, done good things for their community, has
a unique job, received a patent? We want to know about it. Please
forward along any suggestions to alumni@nsac.ca

Rural and Agricultural Health and Safety
There are two key issues impacting the health and safety of rural
and agricultural communities: water management and foreign anima
diseases, (FAD). Through presentations, case studies , discussion
and networking, we are hoping that you will come away from the 2007
Atlantic Agricultural Science and Communication Workshop with a
better understanding of what needs to be done to ensure a safe water
supply. The discussion of the impact of foreign animal diseases
(FAD) on the health and security of rural and farm residents is
also a key element of this sub-theme.
Join us at AASCW 2007 on the campus of the Nova Scotia Agricultural
College campus on November 15th and 16th, 2007. For more information
on this and other sessions and to register online please visit http://nsac.ca/aascw/
The Call for Posters deadline has also been extended.
