International Food Business "Kick-Off" BBQ

Class of '56 Reunion a Success
The Class of '56 recently held their reunion at Liscombe Lodge. Nineteen class members, plus spouses, shared many laughs and memories over the weekend.

NSAC Attends High School Graduations
Students and staff represented NSAC at 20 high school graduations this spring. Presentations of entrance scholarships at graduations is an important part of relationship building with high schools and enhancing NSAC's presence with prospective students and their families. Alumni with students graduating next year are encouraged to contact the Scholarship office at NSAC to arrange to represent NSAC at even more graduations in 2010. More... |

Good Times had at Local Alumni Divot & Dine
Seven teams participated in the Alumni Association's Local Alumni Divot & Dine. The recent golf game was held at Riverrun Golf Club in North River. Stay tuned for a date for the next Divot & Dine!

Staff Announcements
Farewell to Jo-Anne Jordan
After 19.5 years at NSAC, Jo-Anne Jordan is leaving her position as Executive Assistant, Development & External Relations. Jo-Anne will begin her new role at the Chignecto Central Regional School Board, on July 20, as Executive Assistant to the Superintendent. While Jo-Anne will greatly be missed across campus, we wish her luck in her new endeavor! |

Welcome Keltie Jones, Associate Vice President for Students
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Keltie Jones to the position of Associate Vice President Academic for Students.
Formerly Dean of Counseling and Student Services at American River College in Sacramento, California, Jones brings a wealth of experience in meeting the needs of university students. Jones supervised counseling, athletic advising, transfer, articulation, orientation and other student support programs. More...

NSAC is pleased to welcome Dr. Richard Donald, as Vice President Research, Extension and Outreach.
Dr. Donald will work with NSAC researchers as a catalyst to drive transition and innovation in the bioresource and agri-food sectors, working closely with AgraPoint and the provincial departments of agriculture. More... |
