Alumna Wins at Craft Market

NSAC's 21st annual Festive Craft Market was held this past weekend in the Langille Athletic Centre. Emily Boomsma (Class of '01) from Bible Hill, was the winner of the $500 grand prize. Craft Market Coordinator, Ken Marchant, presented the award to Boomsma. 


Young Alumna Making Global Decisions

NSAC’s Corinna Taylor has been chosen as a delegate to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (COP15) from Dec. 7 – 18. This recent B.Sc grad and M.Sc. student will be one of the only Atlantic Canadian representatives of the International Federation of Liberal Youth. More...


Unveiling of Class of '54's Class Project



A number of alumni and staff members gathered on Friday, November 13th for the official unveiling of the Class of 54's project. In recognition of their 55th reunion, the class donated a custom iron arch to the entrance of Alumni Gardens. The new entrance will represent the Class of '54 for years to come!

Alumni Honoured at Blue & Gold Awards Gala

Events

Co-President to Run in Torch Relay

NSAC Co-President and VP Administration, Dr. Bernie MacDonald has been chosen as one of 12,000 Olympic Torchbearers in the Vancouver 2010 Torch Relay. Dr. MacDonald will hold history in his hands when he carries the Olympic Flame, helping to create a path of northern lights along the 45,000 kilometre journey of the Olympic Flame. More..
