Web policy
The
purpose of NSAC's Web Policy is to ensure accuracy, consistency,
integrity and protection of the identity and image of the university
by providing a set of minimum standards and guidelines for websites
of NSAC's departments, facilities, organizations
and affiliates.
General oversight of the university's web server, web pages
and policies concerning the use of these resources is the
responsibility of the Development and External Relations
office. Both the policy and guide are in PDF format.

Be Aware - Web Publishing
Be careful what you publish and how you publish it.
Remember: It's Permanent
Once you publish to the NSAC webserver it's already too late to take it back. The NSAC site is always being 'crawled' by online search engines. These 'web crawlers' may have already copied your published content to their search engine server.
Fortunately responsible companies can remove some cached content when requested, but:
- Removal takes time. Up to three weeks!
- Some will not remove the content
- Visitors may have made their own private copies
Assume anything you publish on the web is permanent. Remember not to post any personal information about yourself that you wouldn't want available to the public.
