to be exhibited at the Marigold Cultural Centre in Truro next month.

NSAC Grad Student wins First
Prize at National Conference
Second year NSAC M.Sc. student, Jeff Nimmo
recently won first prize for his oral presentation
on "Nutrient Flows on Maritime Dairy Farms" at
the national joint conference of the Canadian
Society of Soil Science (CSSS) and Canadian
Society of Agronomy (CSA). Jeff was presented

It’s all blue sky and sunshine for NSAC’s
TREEhouse which recently underwent a solar
analysis to determine the building’s
capacity to generate passive solar energy.
The analysis was completed as part of an on-campus
project to convert an older style split-level
dwelling into an energy efficient and eco-friendly
