Idle Free Campus
NSAC is now an idle-free zone. We have partnered with Drivewiser, a program of Clean Nova Scotia and Conserve NS on a project to persuade motorists on campus to turn off their vehicles.
As some of you may have noticed, signs have been placed in 10 areas across campus that are known for idling vehicles, near building entrances and in loading areas. The signs are to remind students, staff, visitors and delivery drivers to not idle their vehicles unnecessarily.
Drivers who violate the idle-free policy will receive a reminder from NSAC Safety and Security officers of the environmental impact they are making by not turning off their motors.

Team Sponsorship - NS Selects Elite Hockey League
This year the recruitment team has decided to take a new approach in continuing our community support by sponsoring a jersey for the Nova Scotia Selects Elite Hockey League. The jersey will have Nova Scotia Agricultural College written across the back and will also be acknowledged in game programs. During the spring league, the team will play 17 games within Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Tournaments will be held in each province, which is an additional 6-9 games depending on how our team is doing. We are also being given a professional photograph to use of the player and his jersey. The team will also travel to Quebec and some of the New England states!
If you are interested in supporting the provincial team, please have a look at the website for game schedules and fundraising events.

Hello from Recruitment!
University Day is fast approaching and I would like to thank all of our presenters who are willing to help us deliver important messages to our prospective students and their parents and supporters.
We will begin the day with a few words from our Co-Presidents and follow with many wonderful presentations.
Wayne Paquet will dispel some of the myths that registration and application procedures are difficult, Judy Smith will talk about athletics and student services, Jeff McCallum and Colette Wyllie will welcome the group as Students' Union President and President Elect and Kaylah Jenne, our Orientation Chair and Student Recruitment Ambassador will talk about 'How to Finance your Education and Spend it Wisely!"
Debbie Mellish is talking to our parents and will be presenting "What Every Parent and Supporter Should Know about NSAC". Brian Crouse has agreed to talk to our Teachers and Guidance Counselors who are attending and will present " What's New at NSAC".
Our University 101 Session will be packed with great information from five of our Student Ambassadors who will cover everything from residence, Athletics, Student Engagement, Study Habits, and so much more!
The day will be full of excitement and please help us to further engage our guests by joining us in the gym from 12-2 for the NSAC Expo.
Until next time!
