Recruitment Update
Hello from Recruitment!
This week we have had the pleasure to welcome a familiar NSAC
grad, 2007, to our Recruitment Team. Janet Walker has accepted
a position and will begin on January 19th. As most of you know,
Janet has been an active Alumnus of NSAC, participates on the
female Alumnus Woodsmen team, was our President of Students'
Union and was recognized as NSAC All Academic Athlete 2005-2007.
With these accomplishments, Janet has also acquired her teaching
degree, and has been substitute teaching for the past few months
in New Brunswick. She brings to Recruitment her strong agricultural
ties in New Brunswick, incredible knowledge of and pride in
NSAC, our programs and history and enthusiasm for the position.
Please feel free to pop in to say HI to Janet!
We were pleased with the turn out for our first bi-monthly
Recruitment Committee Meeting, held yesterday. Each department
and program was represented and I thank all who came. Your
contributions are always welcome and appreciated. Meeting notes
will be circulated to the committee next week.
Also on the agenda this week was to meet with our NSAC Ambassadors
to discuss up-coming events, the most important University
Day - being held on March 2nd.
For now,
Monica
